About

I specialize in copywriting for residential real estate, though I work with clients in a wide variety of industries. Once, I even wrote a series of blogs about dentures.
My career as a writer has taken a few twists and turns, but I began by writing travel and health features for editorial magazines. I continue to moonlight as a travel and editorial writer and my work has been published in The National Post, The Ottawa Citizen and The Vancouver Sun among others. In addition, I have published over 50 magazine articles on real estate and my work has also appeared in Healthy Miami magazine.
Before making the transition to writing full-time, I worked professionally in television: proof of which you may find here. Experience as a story assistant and researcher, combined with a background in screenwriting, has made me uniquely well-suited to digital advertising.
Born in Canada, I made a break for it early and went on to live in 5 countries on 3 continents. Tired of packing, I settled in Miami in 2016.
The experience I’ve gained overseas has helped me learn to speak other languages (both figuratively and literally). I am a deeply curious person, as well as deeply sensitive to the way both religious and cultural needs inform the way people communicate. This is invaluable to a writer who works in our borderless digital era.
Where Words Matter is home to my copywriting portfolio.
